This is a storyboard of the shots which I would be using in my music video, the images may change and I have also used stand-ins as my selected models were not available.

My Target Audience Profile
Katie Johnson
Meet Katie! She is a 15 year old girl doing her GCSE's studying: Art, Media Studies and Geography as well as doing Dance as a BTEC. She comes from London. She has a older brother aged 18 and a younger sister aged 12. Her favorite music artists are Jessie J, Katy Perry and The Saturdays. Katie is bubbly and nice. She spends most of her time on Facebook and Twitter checking what her favorite artists are up to; she also likes using her iPhone 4s a lot which allows her to use Instagram where she posts a lot of pictures of her with her friends and her life as well as pictures of her at concerts and in VIP rooms with celebrities. She is one minority of girls who do not like One Direction. She gets most of her Clothes from Primark however she likes the odd treat at Hollister. Her appearance is a big thing to her and by having a pop artist as a role model to her dress sense and the way she does her makeup and hair.
Plan for Ancillary Texts - Digipaks and Magazine Adverts
Digipak Idea:
This idea links to some parts in her music video where it's located on her singing on a swing in the woods, I've chosen to do it in the woods because the song is sad which links to how the woods are quite dark and look sad. The fact that the artist is sat on a swing in the middle of the forest and no one else there apart from nature shows that the album is purely about her and how her feelings are expressed through her songs and how she is lonely like she is on the album cover. This idea also links with the magazine advert as that is also featured in the woods.
Magazine Advertisement:
The first thing I would like the audience to see is the music artists name and then also see the album that's why I have chosen to have the image behind and slightly faded. The artist is also located in the woods but a closer shot of her in front of a tree and this allows you to see her expression of pain more easily. I have also included the date of release and also other songs featured on the same album.

Costumes for other Models
Amanda :
Lewis:
Lewis will also be wearing denim jeans too.
Models
Florence - Music Artist
Lewis - Boyfriend
I've chosen Lewis to play a significant role to help tell the story of the breakup between the couple and the story line behind the music video and the song.
Tom - New Boyfriend
I've chosen to use Florence as my main artist in this music video because of the way she looks, it's very natural and peaceful as well as having a kind face which the target audience likes to see in a pop artist.
Lewis - Boyfriend
I've chosen Lewis to play a significant role to help tell the story of the breakup between the couple and the story line behind the music video and the song.
Tom - New Boyfriend
I have chosen to use Tom because he will help to make the story line more interesting with the mind game at the end of the music video.
Amanda - New Girlfriend
I've chosen to use Amanda mainly because she will also help to tell the story line as well as the mind game included in the music video. She also looks similar to the main artist which fits with the illusion that the guy hasn't really moved on because he's gone for a similar girl to his previous relationship.
Makeup
The Makeup I'm using is very natural and I'm using very little as the artist wants the audience to witness the emotions in the song and not the image/fashion.
Locations
WOODLAND
I have chosen this location because it is dark but some natural lighting can comes through which makes it look brighter, there are also a lot of tree's which allows the music artist to use as props and to lean on in a singing section.
This is a public footpath so I still need to be aware that people would be passing through walking their dogs or on horses.
WOODLAND WITH SWING
This location is very dark and also has a swing which I will use in the music video. Surrounding the swing is very open which allows enough space to use various shots.
I am aware this location is just off a public footpath but it is not clearly signposted.
I changed this location from a field because there was a footpath but the field is owned by a farmer and they more recently have cows in the field which wouldn't fit in with the genre of music.

Script
Here is an idea of what will be included in my music video, I have decided to keep it simple by having a performance based music video rather than allow it to get too complex. I have only used a small part of my script as an example but it shows the three different locations of which I will be using and which parts of the song are Lyrics, Narration, Music or FX (special effects).
